Discovery in Balinese Shadow Puppet Shows

The purpose of this article is to examine discovery in relation the creativity Balinese shadow puppet show agents. Since time immemorial, there has been nothing new shows. However, it turns out that novelty and development problems are: 1) Why does puppeteer innovate show?; 2) What form 3) Is an impact show? This problem investigated using qualitative methods. Discovery elements related performances have observed, a literature study carried based on publications about puppets. All data were analyzed qualitatively practical theory aesthetic from cultural studies perspective. results that: responding market demands, influences modern society, technological sophistication, need for artist training performances; condensation performance structure accompanied by simplification language puppeteers, variations movements characters, light, sound, apparatus are discoveries 4) had artists art.
